Close to my Heart!
December 2005 - The song you played at my uncle
eulogy and his burial really opened my eyes to my heritage and so did your
website, but I am just now able to start my quest on learning about my
family and heritage one thing I did learn from my uncle is that family and
heritage are very important but it is now that I am realizing that and
again I would like to thank you for all of your information and knowledge
I will start my online language courses next month. I applauded you on
your musicianship and art work that is another thing I learned from my
uncle is to see good art and notice it and the talent behind it.

from Aug. 2007
Hi Terry
Just checked out your site in hopes of finding that the healing from
Sundance was still going strong. I'm so glad to hear that you are doing
well. The memories of you walking from that tree without the use of your
cane and sharing the load with me as we carried the tree to its resting
place burn strong in my heart. Though I had to fall out of the dance my
prayers for health and happiness of all my relatives burns strong in my
heart to this day.
Blessings to you, my friend and my brother.

April 2nd, 2006 - Terry,
I just wanted to thank you, and let you know how much I appreciate the
strength you have given to me, since Talmadge went on his final journey.
Nights when I can't sleep, I can usually count on chatting with you,
on-line, or listen to the CD, you signed and gave to me at His final
journey, here.
I also appreciate your playing at his services, it was a Great
comfort for me, as I closed my eyes and listened to your music, being
played, from the heart, for you loved my son, as a brother.
Wind Flute music, has always been very peaceful, to me, and when a
master plays from the heart, you can know of a certainty, that it is a
God-Given Talent.
You were a Good Friend to my son, whom I sorely miss, and you have
also proven to be there for me.
I thank God for Friends like you, and I pray God continues to use you
and your Son, Chad, as You are given a Talent from God, to do, as Little
David did, with his harp; soothe troubled hearts.
My son had much, God=Given Talent, and so do you and Chad.
I pray God's protection and strength for you, as you continue to use
the talent and love,
He has given you, to bless others. This
straight from the
heart honey, you have given me the boost I need and you'll never know
just how much I do appreciate you. Pat Davis
April 16th, 2006, Terrylee, I hope that this email finds you
and yours doing well.
I just wanted to say thank you. Every once in a while something
happens in life and it is a moment that I may have missed the true
impact of it if you hadn't helped me find a more spiritual side of
life. For that enlightenment I am very thankful. Even if the person
that I encounter in my journey doesn't believe as I do, there is still
a place to have the spirit to guide the situation. And to know that
this situation will make both parties journey a better one. I still
struggle with patients. Sometimes I want to understand, or want
answers that I am not ready for. So that is still a work in
progress. Sometimes it feels that my journey is at a stand still, but
there is a reason for this. It is awesome for me to realize this, and
more awesome when the event happens and I recognize that there was
something that needed attention or closure before the journey was
ready to move forward. Maybe that closure wasn't mine as much as it
was for the other person, but it was an event that we needed to share
to be able to grow for the next set of events in our own personal
journeys. And to know that after this event of closure that our paths
will go our separate ways, and maybe someday they will cross again, as
we go our separate ways I feel in my heart a comfort that both parties
are better for our paths crossing.
Life is a lot more exciting when you understand that you are on a
journey and it is not at our timing that things are revealed. We need
to appreciate what we have, and learn from our current environment,
help others when we can, and be excited about the potential of new
experiences, when they are revealed.
Thank you for all that you do for others. Life is a lot more
enjoyable, now that I am more aware of my surroundings.
Thanks Again.
Diane

Because it seemed to me that there were. Just inquiring. Well looks like

Dear Terry,
The generosity of spirit in gifting us one of your works " Endless Flame"
is matched only by the quality of the work itself. We so appreciated your
kind gesture at the Haskell Indian Art Show and want you to know it is our
belief that someway, somehow, we will find an appropriate means of
reciprocity.
In the meantime, thanks from the heart of the "Blue Horse" owners who wish
you ongoing success in your art as well as life.

TerryLee,
I was just looking through some pictures and I came across 2 of 100
Limited edition reproduction from the original piece of artwork by Terry
Whetstone. I don't even know if you remember when you sold it to me. I
will be going out to get this framed as soon as I can. It is in excellent
shape with the story on the back. I guess I have a piece of History and a
nice piece at that. What kind of frame would you suggest? Bob Lange, GA

October-2007 - Terry, I just saw you today at Indian
Summer and bought the "Rocks" CD -- I came home immediately and
played it and had to tell you right away how much I enjoyed it. It's
awesome. I don't have the horse and buffalo pictures up yet, but will
soon.
Anyway, I enjoyed the music so much; the lineup on my
5-CD player will now be you (and your friends), Carlos Nakai, Bill

Custom Drum painting of “Good Medicine” - OH MY GOD!!!!!
It is BEAUTIFUL, Thank YOU very much. I don't think I'll play that one at
all. It will probably sit somewhere and just be seen. I'm speechless. You
really did a Great Job on the drum. Thank You again.....

“Sacred Seed”: I didn't see anything wrong with this
artistic interpretation of your thoughts and expression. You make the
painting so real looking that I actually thought it was a picture from the
cliff dwellers. I like it!!! Truly God has blessed you with this gift.
Great job Brother......... Florence says it is, looks AWESOME!!!!!
Each of TerryLee's paintings stir what seems like some
buried and forgotten memory within me. "Good Medicine" continues to be
instructional to me, "Endless Flames" awakens a deep compassion for my
native ancestors, "Solitude" and "Come Walk With Me" make me aware of
something deep within that has lain dormant most of my life, and each of
his other paintings speak to different aspects within me. I was fortunate
to see his just newly finished original painting titled "Music Arrival"
(of Kokopelli) the weekend it first appeared in a show and was snapped up
by a young couple who just had to have it. The beauty, depth, and
3-dimensional impact of that painting and others is stunning and
startling. Jim Williams, OK

Dear TerryLee,
Hello. My name is Ryuko Yuri who lives in Sacramento, CA. My husband and I
really like one of your works titled "In Harmony." We've never bought any
other art works before.
We agree that your works are based on the demands of the people like us.
We are extremely happy, so we've been celebrating that you've accepted us
to have "In Harmony."
We'd like to introduce ourselves a little bit to let you know the persons
who will cherish one of your works in their life time,
Tsutomu and Ryuko Yuri were born in Japan and came to the U.S. about five
years ago due to Tsutomu's business transfer. We lived in Houston for four
years and moved into Sacramento in August this year due to Tsutomu's
business transfer again. During these five years, we read and saw the
histories of Native Americans.
When I (Ryuko) saw your work "In Harmony" for the first time, I felt the
feelings of calmness and happiness which I always want to feel. I did not
think about buying it because it was too expensive for us, but somehow, it
kept me getting in your homepage for many times in these few weeks. I was
so fascinate by "In Harmony" that I showed it to Tsutomu. He immediately
showed the appreciation for the work as I felt. We are really happy that
we can have an artwork that we both love.
Sincerely,
Ryuko & Tsutomu Yuri

Terry -
Thank you so much for your prompt response. I am extremely impressed with
your ambitions on your journey here on earth. Please keep me posted on the
release of your book and CD - I would like to buy a set. It is comforting
to know that Teresa and you are here for all of us, as I am for both of
you, and anyone else. Like you said, all we can do is extend a hand. We
all touch each other’s lives in some way every day in everything we do, so
to try to always make that contact positive is so important. We are all
creatures sharing this planet and we need to be kind to each other and the
four-leggeds:). Your words reminded me of my chosen family at home. I like
how you think - that it is not so rigid - the way - not set in stone - but
you take what you need and leave the rest, but always respectfully and
with love. If there is ever anything I can do to help either of you, let
me know. How far are you from Kansas City and are you interested in
starting a spiritual teaching group and gathering of people to learn from
each other and share ideas, if you are close enough? Let me know your
thoughts.Your sister in spirit - Dana
This is the man I call my brother. Note the resemblance.
LOL This man is so talented. He has a gift of seeing the world and beyond

"Unite The Sacred Circle"
What can I say... it is awesome... did you find a title yet?
Title will come to one of us. Just made tobacco offering. Maybe it does
not need a title. A picture says a thousand words and this picture says so
much. How can you put a book into a title? Is that the color that the
hands of God are going to be? The detail is wonderful and the hands are so
right on. Not sure what artist said if you can draw the human hand you are
a talent and I can say you truly are. If you are thinking of a color
please make God anything but white. Red men have wonderful color of skin.

2005 - Art:
I've just gone back and reviewed the images
you've shared with me since the beginning of the year. In everything, I'm
seeing that you make a clear assertion that the surface appearances and
experiences of human life must necessarily be taken and considered within
the context of a much deeper reality. You are producing art in keeping
with your inner vision and understanding. To me there is a vital
difference between Conscious art, and merely mundane pop
art. Most pop art, (i.e., nearly every form of advertising or
entertainment) is to me just another form of pornography. What I am
getting at here is that it generates an emotional gut reactions: fear,
loathing, vanity, desire, lust, greed, etc. We're pummeled with sensorial
chaos that reinforces our social conditioning and is mostly aimed toward
furthering our consumerism. It's all upside down and inside out. No wonder
so few seem to make any sense of deeper things or even become aware of
them. Conscious art cuts to the chase, so to speak. It is
capable of shifting our paradigms and deepening our spiritual awareness.
It can revive the sense of awe that social conditioning has arrested in
us. You are now, ever more, expressing Conscious art, images
that reveal, inspire, uplift, and encourage all to experience a rebirthing
of deep spiritual values and awareness. I thank you for this... JW
"From The Depths, Come The Spirits",
I paint watercolors and love looking at other artists. work. Usually, I
can look a work of art and get a feel for the artist, but with you I
can't. Your work is so spiritual that words don't interact well with
the pictures. I can't explain it, but the pictures seem to take me
somewhere I've never been before and sort of leave me unable to speak.
Wa-do for sharing
your experiences and your vision.
~Patti
"Spirit Journey Home", Wow. Terry. This is a powerful
piece. Not so much in the painted picture, but in the felling without
words. Breathtaking. M. Martin

"Spirit Journey Home"
Just had to drop a note and tell you how much "Spirit Journey Home" has
touched me. It reminds me so much of my Dad five years ago (January
2000) when he was inducted into the University of Missouri Athletic Hall
of Fame (they induct 10 new members each year and have been doing so the
last 15 years). He was very frail then due to health problems extending
from a stroke about 15 years earlier. But, he was able to walk across
the floor at the Norm Stewart Basketball facility and accept his award.
He was aided by a cane and when he reached the spot where he was to
accept his award, he momentarily threw his cane upward above his head
(much like the picture you painted) and the crowd went absolutely wild
because almost everyone in the place remembered "The Ironman" (my Dad's
athletic nickname at MIzzou) and loved him dearly. It was a very happy
occasion.
11 months later, on December 28, 2000, my very frail and sickly Dad - a
mere shadow of his former self -- truly did journey home to Jesus. In
my head, I frequently see that picture of him raising his cane the day
he accepted his award in January 2000, and I can see him doing the same
thing when the Lord came to get him December of that same year. It is
such a bittersweet memory.
Anyway, I wanted to share how your newest piece of work brought tears
to my eyes. My Dad was 88 the year he died. Not a day goes by that I
don't think of him and how much I miss "The Ironman".
I also wanted to tell you that I appreciate you sending me the first
day's work on this and what the title was. The minute I correlated the
title with the first part of your work, I immediately wondered if it
were linked to your operation and thoughts you might have been having.
Uncanny, huh?
Fondly,
Robyn

"Who's In Control", BRAVO Terry Lee!!! Not only a
brilliant painting, but words to match! Now I know that you think as I
do...Creator is ALWAYS in control...This is an extra special piece
Terry, and yes, I do believe I got it about the human hand being
guided by Creator's hand...I applaud you on this one my friend, and it
will be stored in my private"vault". I know that the Creator was with
you on this one... .
May HE always watch over you.

"Who's In Control",
Thanks you so much brother. I
feel that the painting that you send me with explanation carry a
message to many and I would love to share them only when needed as I
do think they may help so many who are truly down and out right now
with many issues.
Thanks again so much

"Who's In Control", Terry,
That is very powerful saying .And I know it came from the heart.
Your a special man with a special talent, that GOD gave you and I
see you have under taken the challenge to help the one's that need
it the most
I maybe 1 on them.

"Who's In Control", Thanks
for clarifying the imagery for me. The waves do give a sense of the
everchanging circumstances we are presented with and are obliged to
navigate through, yet trusting our inner guidance more than the wisdom of
man. Time is a big factor and in the great vastness of eternity we are
allotted so little time as an individual person. Thus the need for each to
be mindful and respectful of the unmoved mover who guides all.
jw
Flight Of Freedom
- TerryLee,
Just a
quick observation. I think you or maybe someone else said at one time
that sometimes there is something in a painting that was not planned by
the artist - it just happens. I noticed the obvious horse and eagle,
but in addition to that I also later noticed a cloud in the upper left
hand side of the painting. To my imagination it looks like a right hand
(palm up). Almost like the right hand of God or Spirit gifting "Flight
of Freedom" to all who are receptive.
As a side
note I temporarily placed the gallery wrap canvas giclee on a window
sill with the blinds closed since it was close to where I was sitting at
the time and where I could enjoy looking at it. I got busy doing
something else and later returned to the room and as I looked at it I
noticed how it changed with the light of the Sun behind it. It seemed
to be more alive. Being afraid it might fade due to the Sun I moved it
but from time to time I will place it there and enjoy what it means to
me.
Take care
and thanks again.

MAN or BEAST - I
really enjoyed your words and thoughts on this painting. I've often
thought of how humans dub animals as beasts of burden etc...almost
wiping them outta existence.
The Red hand print
always gets me, in fact i have been considering a small red
handprint over my heart as a tattoo for sometime. The snow effect is
awesome n well thought of, it is a blanket of purity for sure.

Painting, "Sweeter than Rattle", I definitely think you put the
brush down at the right time. You have captured one of life's
precious moments here and made it so very endearing as well
as expressing a deeper meaning behind it. I so wish I could
create the way that you do. But alas, it seems God has given me
more the gift to teach the visual arts to children, be creative
with my feet by clogging and have a sense of appreciation for what
other artists like yourself create.
Thanks for sharing this one. Very precious and adorable.
Robyn Painting, "Sweeter than Rattle",
Comments from a friend who loves your picture…Another
thought I had after reading the comments was - the parent is
doing a great job of letting the baby experience the messiness,
stickiness - barefoot in the grass - the whole shebang.... I have
seen parents that wouldn't dare let their child sit in the grass -
barefoot! hahaha.... Words to the painting; "Sweeter
then Rattle" -
Thought… Do we have two
different worlds here? Maybe, not but here we have an infant child
whose probable only thought is, “boy this is good”. Then it is
possible that the parent, the adult is saying, “what a sticky mess
I am going to have to cleanup!” Do we, 100% develop and set in our
children’s mind how they handle and react to their
environment? This child doesn’t care how sticky their cloths and
skin are getting. Their only thought is, “it just don’t get any
better then this!” Then this child grows up to an adult and some
cannot stand to get sticky and messy and others could care less on
how they look. What are the controlling factors? I do think it
goes way beyond or deeper then how or what parents do. But,
teaching the Spiritual ways, Which tell us how to live in harmony
with the Laws and principles of the Great Spirit is starting out
on the right foot. Living means Life – a good life, a happy life
if you know the Center. The Center is your soul and the Spirit and
Creator is found in this place. “Blessings for the sweet things in
Life?”
painting, "Sweeter than Rattle", I love it plus the
thoughts also. So true, Honey, so true. Keep up the good work,
but also use Wisdom, in caring for your Health .Remember, God
gives us Knowledge and Talent, BUT it's up to us to apply the
Wisdom, to use what He has given to us, to bless others with.
Pat Davis
"Sweeter than Rattle",
I love this
painting.....beautifully done! I also love your very profound
analogy about it, it is so fitting. Do you mind if I pass this
along to my yahoo group? I am sure they would love to see this
as well. Dohiyi, Tamra
Terry, "Sweeter than Rattle", No question about it, it looks
good enough to eat.
You got another slice? Ken
Terry, When Rhonda and I opened the first painting, "He's Back",
her reaction was, "How cute!" We make stained glass, and she
immediately started planning on how to design a piece of glass
based on your painting.
When we opened "Endless Flames", our jaws dropped. The
soft lines and grainy texture of that work add a new dimension
to any of the Trail of Tears pieces we've ever seen.
Rhonda painted a piece modeled on another Trail of Tears
painting 23 years ago. I've attached a (poor) photo of it.
Anyway, the piece you sent us was stunning. The effect of the
lines around the sun was beautiful! Thank you, Keith

Thanks so much for sending me the first edition of your
newsletter. It is excellent!! I like the format, the art, the schedule,
and the teaching as well. I shall look forward to the next issue. Your
Spiritual viewpoint and perspective aligns so closely with my own
understanding of Truth. Jim Williams, OK
I just reviewed the two issues of Ahwatukee and am very
impressed.
Nice style of writing and teaching. We really look forward to having you

Terry,
We have both enjoyed your letter each month. Since we spoke with you in
Dallas at the Indian Arts Festival we have had a renewed sense of
direction in trying to piece together a family tree. Kairos still hangs in
our living room, although not yet framed but still our favorite. The print
is almost as good as the original which we both still love.
Thank-you for what you have given us and inspired in us. We look foward to
you coming to Tennessee one day or at least North Carolina (since we now
live in Tn.).
Looking foward to your next letter,
Sincerely,
Ron and Carla Elliott
Dear Terry, Just wanted to let you know that I do enjoy getting
your newsletters. I met you last year in Omaha at a Lewis and Clark
festival. I bought your Kairos CD (love it). I get something different
from it each time I listen to it. I hope you are feeling better after your
surgery. You are an encouragement and I hope those who read your letters
are encouraged by the wisdom God gives you to communicate through your
words, art and music. Thank you and many blessings. Kate Dolan

Again a very good newsletter-but this one really shattered my heart open
and opened the spirit place again.
Blessings on you and your work-my group continues to pray for your
mother.

Terry-
I really enjoyed the "food for thought" and sent it out immediately to
several of my friends and family..
The best of the New Year to you and Theresa. I hope to make it to
another or two of your performances and art shows in 2006. I would be
more than happy to help out at your booth (if nothing else to give you
guys a chance to have a break) and of course you know I always am in
the buying trend for your beautiful work!
Please continue to remember I so enjoy watching the steps of your
artwork in progress. It really makes the work itself even more
meaningful. So, please send those steps along. I am forever a fan of
your Native American themes and talent.
Happy New Year.
Fondly,
Robyn

Hello Terry... This is Cathy Phillips, my sister Sandy is
the one who builds dulcimers and sells them. I have been reading the
monthly mailers and feeling the love of life.
P.S. I am playing my flute more as the days are empty without the snows
of winter. Your playing and what you told me about feeling the music is
true. It comes from within and flows like the great rivers. Thank you
for showing me the way. Your friend always.

I am really starting to work on my intensive Senior
Project for the Medicine Wheel now. I really love how you title your
newsletters "Gift for Living - Way of Life - Circle of Being - The Inner
Journey
The Medicine Wheel" I would really like to use this for my title of my
project of course with your permission and dedicating it to you because
your paintings have really inspired me. I have a lot of things I am doing
for this project but my painting in the end should tie in everything.

American Indian Flute Music
I first heard TerryLee at a small exhibition in a gallery
in Bartlesville, OK, which was featuring a few select artists that week.
TerryLee was one of those being featured and was also playing various
flutes from his collection to provide background music in the gallery. I
soon found myself seeking a place to tuck in out of the way where I could
sink the floor, close my eyes, and let my being drink in the soothing
sound flowing from his flute. Well, sitting on the floor in a somewhat
formal public place is quite out of character for me, yet I did not really
seem to have an option. The music was calling forth something within me
and holding a lively, invigorating conversation with what was being called
forth. In a short time I had quite forgotten where I was physically and
just enjoyed this new place I had discovered within my being. When someone
asked him a question about one of his paintings, and the music ceased
while he spoke, I opened my eyes and my surface self became very
embarrassed to be sitting there on the floor of the gallery. Well, there
is certainly nothing stiff or formal about the beautiful music that
expresses itself through TerryLee WHETSTONe. I've had the joy of hearing
him play live many times since, and have two of his CD's. Jim Williams, OK
And Terry:
Well, I'm no spring chicken, and over the years of interactions with other
people, what I have come to value most in others is their depth of
sincerity. I have come to respect TerryLee as one who is uncommonly
genuine and who has his life rooted deeply in simple spiritual values.
Those values are reflected in his art, his music, and his interactions
with others. I have come to realize that family can have quite a different
meaning and he is indeed my brother, and sometimes my teacher. Jim

NEW CD (#8-Album-KAIROS)
I really enjoyed it, and you are right you went way out there. The one
track with the guitar and flute sounded a little congested the first time
I listened to it but after the third time I kind of grew on me. I say
again, you have really come a long way from your front room.

I met you once when I bought your Kairos CD
which you offered to sign for me. Thank you. I do enjoy listening to
it or rather I should say "experiencing it" because I do feel or
imagine something different every time I hear it. Kate

Pertaining to the new Kairos album
TerryLee, You have much insight and express it, well, in your music and
painting. I'm sure it is expressed in the way you live your life and in
your communications with others, as well.
You have been blessed with many gifts and I see the part of those you
share with the world and perceive them as "good works" that will help
others in seeking to use their gifts, too, instead of letting them sit
dormant. Yes, you wake the spirit in others ( I know you have "energized"
mine).
Thank You for Being.
Peace and Blessings! :) James Dean
Terry, I have painted alot of these paintings to your
music.

To Terry, Your music "Heart Song" will play in the
background as I paint. Robert Griffing, PA
Terry Whetstone,
Part of the inspiration to write this poem came from hearing you play at
the Indian Market 2003 (as well as my playing the Alto Recorder when I
can't express my emotions any other way). Peace and Blessings! :)

Thank You for the Kairos CD (received it Thursday) and postcard! :) Would
be great to know that my "New Earth Wakes" title idea inspired a painting,
too. Let me know if you follow through with that idea, too.

Ah-ho My Friend:
I wish to thank you, again, for the CD's. I am very pleased with the songs
you have
created for this album. You have done yourself and our people, proud!

Dec. 2005-TWO PATHS_CD TerryLee;
The Two Paths CD is the most amazing work
that I have ever heard. It stays true, but it has a real original
sound. The blend of you and Chad together has opened an unlimited
horizon of opportunities. I hope that you are able to keep your track
of making three CD's in 2006. All of your work has been wonderful,
but each CD seems to be a little more amazing than the last.
Thank you for enriching our world.

Terry,
Driscoll Hospital in Corpus Christi is recognized as one of the finest
children's hospitals in the country. One of the neonatal ICU nurses came
in yesterday looking for soothing, comforting, womb-like flute music.
She listened to your Heart Song CD, after listening to countless others,
and was absolutely delighted that she discovered gold.
She will play Heart Song to the premature ICU babies that need to feel
comforted so they can rest and become strong.
She asked if there was any way you could visit the hospital and perhaps
play for the kids. Many of these children are quite ill, cancer, heart
and other organ problems,
but they are always grateful for any special attention that comes their
way.
Thanks for all!
Bill
2006Terry - "Two Paths" CD Review - March 1st, 2006:
Congratulations my brother step by step you are getting there your
music is so haunting as are your paintings straight to my heart
-space.....We will send up prayers and smoke of thanks .
Consheba. Terry,
It is quite an an emotional spin on the circle of life when a son emulates a
father, not so much as a mirror image, but as a man in his own right, yet
honors his father with many of the same beliefs, interests, and values. It is
true with my son (males me feel old) and I see it is so with your son.
Osiyo, My Friend:
Have received my Autographed CD copies. Thank you for your prompt
attention.
I have brought them to the store for Sharon to hear. I am most pleased with
them and especially the way Two Paths was done. Chad did well in this it has
really got my attention. Of course, You always have done good, that goes
without saying.
Thank You, My Friend,
Ken Terry, "Friend of Voices", "Passing Through", & "Two Paths";
I pulled off to the side of the road to open
the packet with the CD's and listened to them for the rest of the
afternoon while I planed a large batch of flutes. Friend, I enjoyed your
earlier CD's, but these were beyond! I still need to listen to
"Solitude", and I'm looking forward to that. Thank you, Keith

Subject: A new friend in Cahokia ----
Hi There. I absolutely loved meeting you two. Hearing your beautiful
music. I'm still trying to process the feelings it has inspired in me.
The art show was a first of its kind for me. I purchased Fridays tickets
on a impulse. Not knowing what to expect when we arrived just heightened
the unexpected gift I took with me. As my friend and I sat on a bench
taking in this unfamiliar surroundings an ease came over me. Here's the
thing. I didn't even know how uneasy I was. This breathtaking sound of
your flute flowed directly down to my inner core. For one brief moment I
was a stranger to myself. All the worry, stress of running a business,
life, parenting, the normal things that slowly sneak upon a person
drifted away from me. I couldn't pull myself away from your music. The
only purchases we made Friday was three of your CDs, all of which you
took the time to autograph. I dreamed of your craft that night and you
stayed in my head until finally Sunday I had to come back. I drove
straight there, parked, walked straight to your display with only my
keys and money in hand. I had to have the heart song CD too. Catching
you not busy was just a bonus. I wasn't going to bother you with a
request of another autograph, but when you offered, I was thrilled. I
don't know what it is that your music has done to me, but I'm sure I'm a
better person because of it. At least that's what my employees say. Our
paths must cross again. For this I'm sure of. A new friend and fan ,
Kim Pierson
