Soars
Have you ever watched
an eagle soar on a crystal blue sky? He appears to be flying
effortlessly, scanning the environment below. The eagle is free! This is
the closest we can come to heaven on earth.
The eagle sees all,
just like our creator. There is a American Indian belief, that when a
Eagle has landed and He looks you in the eye, He has seen into you. When
this happens he is taking away the troubles within you. The eagle is
free! He answers to no one. No wonder the eagle is our National Symbol.
Our nation strives to maintain freedom. Many nations use the eagle as
their national symbol. The eagle is a symbol of strength and freedom.
American Indians hold
the eagle in highest regard, even it's feathers are sacred and honored.
The American Indian believe that the eagle carries our prayers to our
creator.
The Eagle is found in
the East and this is where our prayers are heard but we do not have
clarity yet.
