In our history my relatives walked the Trail Where They Cried, known today as the Trail of Tears. There were many hardships and death on this travel from the Cherokee homelands to Oklahoma. As we all need hope in life, the Cherokee people needed it even more during this time. With the Great Spirit's arm reaching down from the sky it is a sign He is always there to help us with our burdens.
