Their colors take time to come forth and teach us that with maturity our own true colors come forth. Dragonflies inhabit two realms – Water and Air. Take time to understand the significance of these two items.

From within the water they go through metamorphosis and move to the realm of Air. It is not unusual to find individuals with dragonfly totems to be very emotional and passionate in the early years, but as they get older, they learn to balance it with greater mental clarity and control. Remember there must be expressions of the emotional and the mental together.

If they are around you might need to look at some fresh Air in regard to something emotional. Change or metamorphosis might be in the making for you. Take a look at possible neglecting yourself and your emotions.
